FLM+D Field Trip No. 1 : Paul Rudolph Milam House & William Morgan House

For our first field trip, a small crew from Miami made the trek up to St Augustine. We Stayed in a super cute mid century motel called the Magic Beach Motel. We met up with the Sarasota Archtectural Foundation and toured the Milam House before driving just up A1A to the William Morgan House. At the Milam House Carl Abbott told us about how he helped Paul Rudolph construct the Milam House as it was Rudolph's last Florida house and he was spending most of his time at Yale by this point. Bunny Morgan was kind enough to host us and regale us with family memories of beach bonfires and get together.
